Electronic Visit Verification
Federal law requires an electronic record of certain information, Electronic Visit Verification (EVV), about IHSS and/or WPCS services performed.
IHSS Providers are required to include the following information, in addition to the hours they worked, when submitting timesheets.
- Start Time -The time a provider began the first IHSS/WPCS service for a recipient that day
- End Time -The time a provider completed the last IHSS/WPCS service for a recipient that day
- Location -Where the services were performed that day, in the recipient’s home, in the community (anywhere other than the recipient’s home) or both
